We were honored to be chosen once again to host a Disney Side at Home Celebration this year! Now that the party date is finally approaching, we thought we’d let you in on a little of the planning.

We had originally set the date of our Disney Side party for Valentine’s Day, and chose “Besties & Buds” as the theme, focusing on Disney character best friends. A charity function popped up, however, and we had to reschedule. Although the Valentine overtones will be gone, we’re still going to celebrate Disney Besties & Buds–both our on-screen pals and our real-life chums.

Here’s a little of what’s in store:
- Mater & McQueen 3-legged race (Buds)
- Carl & Russell’s UP balloon-on-a-spoon relay (Buds)
- Mickey & Pluto’s photo booth (Besties AND Buds)
- Rapunzel & Pascal’s paint studio (Besties)
- Minnie & Daisy’s nail salon (Besties)
We’ll enjoy a tie-dye Mickey Mouse cake, along with other snacky delights too, and of course, we’ll pin-the-smile on Mickey and challenge each other to some Disney trivia before sending everyone home to show their Disney Side with goodies and prizes of their own.
Tune in next week for a full party report!

NOTE: I received a Disney Side @ Home Celebration party planning kit free of charge in exchange for hosting a Disney Side @ Home Celebration. All preparation and planning was done on my own, with no further compensation. Thank you to Disney and their partners for supplying the kit and offering this fun-filled opportunity to share our Disney passion with friends!
