I was one of the fortunate few selected to host a #DisneySide @ Home Celebration! I’ve been planning it for over a month, and now it’s less than a day away. We could not be more excited!
What is a #DisneySide @ Home Celebration?
Well, it’s simply a party to show off our Disney Side with friends and family! Disney and several of their partners, like American Tourister, Hanes, The Chew TV show, Ocean Spray, and HP photo papers, packaged up a fabulous party kit. We’ll be utilizing several of the supplies to put on the party and to give away as gifts in goody bags.
Our party will be Epcot-themed. We’ll greet Guests in Norway (the living room), where they can mingle and make edible Olafs until everyone arrives. From there, the group will divide in two, one going to Italy (kitchen) and the other to Germany (formal living). In Italy, they will make “Minnie” Mickey pizzas and a Venetian mask. In Germany, they will decorate Mickey sugar cookies and create paper lanterns from the German fairy tale of Rapunzel/Tangled. The two groups will switch places, and when they are done, they will come back together in the American Adventure (dining room) to enjoy their pizzas and cookies and to do a fabric marker T-shirt craft. To fill any spare time, we will also play Disney bingo and weave Mickey bracelets on Rainbow looms.
Tomorrow’s the big day, and we cannot wait to show off our Disney Side and celebrate with our friends! Wish you could all be here with us! Be sure to check back with us over the weekend to see pics of our fun time.
